Vipin Chandran Pathiyil

Head of Faculty

Mr. Vipin Chandran Pathiyil has been a designer for 15 years and has been teaching various aspects of visual and communication design for the last 8 years.
He was a member of the faculty at the National Institute of Creative Communication, Bangalore and L'Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués, Bangalore.
As a design consultant he specialises in identity & brand design, UI/UX design and type design. Some of the brands he has worked with include Royal Challengers Bangalore, Domino's Pizza, Le Méridien Hotels, Hoffmann Bewirtung India, Forum Neighbourhood Mall, Idea Device, Exit Café, and the successfully crowd-funded robotics project – Aido.
In 2015 he co-founded Radworx, an advertising agency based in Kochi.
Apart from teaching he has conducted workshops on persona development, and speculative design. His interests include non-linear narratives, ergodic literature, role of sound in UX design and generative art.
He holds a B. Tech degree in electrical & electronics engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kozhikode.

Krupa Prajapati Rose

Senior Associate Faculty - Interior & Achitecture Design

A working professional in the field of Interior Design since 2008. A graduate from Jain University-Interior Design
and a Bachelor of Arts with an International Postgrad in Retail Interior Design. She has worked with renowned architects and design firms,
completing over 120 projects with these firms: Residential, Commercial and Name-Brands in Retail.
She also completed projects in Hospitality, specialising in F&B.In 2017,she founded the boutique Design firm, Lemondust Studios, in association with NICC.
Lemondust has carried out over 20 premium projects in association with a well-known International Firm. Lemondust has designed and executed over 25000 sq.ft.
of Corporate interiors and several Luxury Residential Interiors.
Currently ongoing projects include Turnkey Architecture, Construction and Interiors.
Recognition & Awards:
Mrs. Krupa has been part of the Panel Discussion on '3D-Printing in the Future of Lighting', convened by Signify-Philips Hue.
Lemondust has been featured in 'Antaria', the respected Interior Design publication.
The studio has been featured in 'Startup India' magazine and received 'Best in Class - Commercial & Furniture Designs award at ELDROK India - India Architecture Awards 2021.

Purushothaman Raju

Senior Associate Faculty - Multimedia Design

Mr. Purushothaman has over 17 years of experience in multiple domains in Academic coaching.
He is an expert in Adobe Post-Production Software for Video Post-Production & Motion Graphics
A creativity - driven product manager and producer with years of experience, successfully leading and coordinating projects in the online gaming industry with practical expertise in running the show for multiple AAA games and supporting other leading AAA titles published by K2 Network (Gamers First).
During his tenure as Academic Faculty, he has trained and mentored more than 800+ students in esteemed colleges and institutions on diverse projects in the field of multimedia.
He holds an Advanced Professional Diploma in Multimedia and is an expert in 3D Programs, Game Development & Moving Media Post Production
and is the Author of the book, "Character Rigging and Advanced Animation" published by Apress Media LLC

Dennis Cyriac Muricken

Senior Associate Faculty - Cinematography

Dennis C Muricken is a highly qualified and accomplished professional Cinematographer with a Degree in Film and Digital Cinematography from Met Film School, London. He is a professional cinematographer who worked in the Malayalam film industry as well as the Kannada film industry.
He has 5 years of experience in feature films and also for events of IPL and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Naveen Chandran Nair

Senior Associate Faculty - Photography

Naveen Prathap Chandran Nair is a Professional Photographer with over 10 years of experience. He completed his B.tech from Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore and his M.A in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Some of the notable events he has worked with includes ‘What’s On’ Award ceremony, Abu Dhabi, Middle East Film and Comic Convention, Dubai, Heunicon, Egypt. He has been featured in multiple magazines and websites for creative photography and editing including a special mention in DC Fandome event and Ubisoft Canada website.

M. Arvind

Associate Faculty - Photography

A passionate and accomplished Photography professional with a deep commitment to teaching.10+ years in Photography and Graphic Design (PSD, CDR, AI). Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Madurai Kamaraj University and Diploma in 3D Animation and Visual Effects (VFX) from MAAC, FRAMEBOXX and INSPIRE.

Management Team

In addition to regular administrative staff, NICC has full-time dedicated Placement Officers and Career Guidance staff who are constantly in touch with Industries who contact NICC for Campus Placement and continuously interact with Industry to ensure optimum Placement for our graduates.
